Love, Mend, Train, Send

We will Love, Mend, Train and Send.

We believe that discipleship involves leading believers through a process that can be characterized by the word pictures: home, hospital, school, and army.

A HOME – To gather and introduce people to Christ and draw them into trusting relationships within the family of God. We seek to share God’s Love and enjoy Him with others, to remove stumbling blocks as we reach out to others under the power and unction of the Holy Spirit. We seek to help others to learn and experience their new identity as members of the family of God. (LOVE)

HOSPITAL – To heal, bringing wholeness and care to those that the Lord adds to our body. As we receive God’s acceptance, affirmation, and healing (body, soul, and spirit), we are better able to convey God’s love to those around us. We begin to turn from an inward focus to an outward focus, toward the needs of others. (MEND)

A SCHOOL – To train and equip people to speak the words and do the works of Jesus Christ, to accomplish the vision God has given us while living His values. To train, primarily through a process of mentoring, because many things of God are easier “caught than taught!” (TRAIN)

AN ARMY – To send people out into the community and the world for works of service, to share with others the love they have been given, so that the love of God and the manifestation of His kingdom will spring forth into every social and economic area we touch. Warriors need to periodically return to the family to be loved, healed, taught and sent out again. (SEND)

Whether you turn to the right or the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,
"This is the way; walk in it." Isaiah 30:21
